Nakertrans Agency Detects Coronavirus Cases in Six Offices

So far office cluster cases have not been found yet, but this finding is the impact of the Eid holiday

The Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency, has claimed that newly-emerged family clusters in six workplaces had contributed to the rising number of coronavirus cases, on Friday (6/18).

Supervision Division Head, Kartika Lubis said her side was immediately implementing a strict monitoring and spraying disinfectants on such offices.

"We send a team to the location. If the case is found, we will close them (offices) for 3x24 hours for further action," she said.

From each office, she said, there were two to three employees who had contracted the coronavirus.

"So far office cluster cases have not been found yet, but this finding is the impact of the Eid holiday," she asserted.

To anticipate office cluster, together with related units, she was about to hold a sudden inspection (sidak) to all workplaces spread over eight sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

"We're doing this to ensure whether they have applied health protocols or not," she furthered.

As for the information, based on Governor Decree number 759/2021, office buildings in the red zone are required to implement a work from home system of 75 percent. While the yellow zone is 50 percent.
